SPORT PSYCHOLOGY CREDENTIALS:

After practicing clinical psychology for almost thirty years Eileen Keipper decided to re-specialize in sport psychology. She has recently earned a second master's degree in sport psychology at  The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is provisionally certified as a consultant with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) the largest and best known of the sport psychology organizations.

Sport Credentials:

Eileen has worked with exercisers and athletes from a number of sports. This included athletes with a wide range of ages,  talents, competition level and commitment. An avid hiker, she and her family have climbed seven of the highest mountains in the contiguous United States, including Mt. Whitney (#1), Mt. Elpert (#2), and Mt. Massive (#3). Eileen helped her husband condition and prepare for his successful climb of Mt. Kilamanjaro. She herself has competed recreationaly in racquetball, tennis, running, golf and most extensively in equestrian events.

RIDING CREDENTIALS:

I have 30+ years in the horse world, riding in hunter/jumpers, eventing and dressage. I also trail ride and have experience with Natural Horsemanship.  Owning four horses and running the horse farm gives me additional experience in horse management. I also have bred a mare and successfully shown the foal at the Oldenburg inspections.  I have successfully audited the dressage judges “L” program. Having volunteered numerous times at almost every position available has giving me an in-depth understanding of competition from  views other than the rider.

Because of these unique credentials, I am the best qualified consultant to provide help to equestrians.

Eileen started riding as a preteen, 4-H member and competed in western shows.  As an adult she has done hunter-jumpers, eventing and dressage.  Accomplishments include:
